Most video content doesn't fail in the edit. It fails before anyone picks up a camera. Here's why. -
Every organisation asks "what do we want to say?" The ones that win ask something completely different. -
One model. One question. Once you have the answer - every creative decision that follows becomes obvious.

‘Corporate’ isn’t about how much you spent. It isn’t about the camera, the crew or the lighting rig. ‘Corporate’ is a feeling – and your audience has developed an almost instant filter to switch off when a video feels ‘corporate’.
Wrong music. Over-rehearsed delivery. Language that’s been through one too many approval rounds. Any one of those things and the filter kicks in: “This isn’t for me. This is for them – the company in question.”
The problem is that so many organisations fall victim to ‘groupthink’, overthinking or simply wanting to please the boss. The result… they have no way of either challenging or auditing those decisions before the content goes out. They rely on assumptions of what other colleagues will want, internal sign-off and a hope that it lands with the target audience. It rarely does.
This video introduces a practical filter you can run every creative element through – before anything goes near an edit suite. Not a creative opinion. A psychological checklist built around one question: “does this make my audience feel what I need them to feel?” If the answer is no – it goes.
